One of our favourite places is in Lagos, in Ponta Da Piedade. This is a tourist point, where the visit is mandatory at any time of the day. The characteristic rock formations of this place complement the moment when the sun goes down. If you are in Lagos during the day, finish the afternoon in one of the best places to watch the sunset.

Sagres

In what they call the end of the world, it is one of the best landscapes to watch the sunset. This small village in the municipality of Vila do Bispo, has the most coveted beaches for surfers. It is called "the end of the world" because the caravels left that place to discover the rest of the world.
It is in Cape São Vicente that dozens of people gather to watch this moment, ideal for couples. They usually arrive early to settle in and find a comfortable place to watch the sunset.
Tip: Take a coat or a blanket, even in the middle of summer, as it is a very windy area.

The Ria Formosa is a marshland that extends through the councils of Loulé, Faro, Olhão, Tavira and Vila Real de Santo António. Being a protected part of the Natural Park, this was considered one of the most beautiful parks in the Algarve.
